What a better way to celebrate the ending of August, during the Bank Holiday weekend. We gathered for a wonderful community Picnic by the Banks of the River Trent at Nottingham's Victoria Embankment. We shared such a fabulous feast of delicious and very naughty foods, as we thanked the Great Mother for her beautiful array of abundance in our lives, not just for the food but for the love, laughter, friendships, heart connections of Sisterhood and Brotherhood that this year has truly allowed us to share in.
We sang songs, danced, and event played a short game of rounders by the Banks of Trisantonas River. We honoured Trisantona our Goddess of the River Trent with petals of Roses and fresh Lavender as we thanked her for the beautiful setting of our picnic and for watching over us as we partied, frolicked and merried away the summer, until we meet again for the Autumn Equinox.
